Sturdy By Design Reviews

Took me less than an hour to set up. Instructions were mostly clear, just had to double-check a couple steps.

I got a shelf from sturdybydesign.com a few months ago and it’s been way better than I expected. It feels genuinely sturdy, no wobbling or shifting even with a bunch of heavy boxes stacked on it. I use it pretty much every day and it still looks the same as when I set it up. So yeah, happy with it.

I had a quick question about my order , so I sent them a message and heard back the same day , which was nice . The reply was easy to understand and they didn’t make the whole thing feel like a big hassle . I’m giving 4 stars because I did have to follow up once to get the tracking info , but overall the support was solid .

It’s not anything fancy, but it does exactly what I needed it to do and feels well made enough to last. Delivery was fine too, nothing to complain about. I’d order again if I needed something similar.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, and I’ll admit I was kind of waiting for something to annoy me. Surprisingly, my back does feel a lot better. It’s firm without being rock hard, and I don’t get that weird sinking feeling I’ve had with other ones. I’m still a little wary about how it’ll hold up long term, but so far it’s been really comfortable and supportive.

I was expecting it to take about as long as my other recent orders, but this one showed up way faster. The box was in perfect shape too, which was a nice surprise.

I’ve had this for a few weeks now, the first thing that stood out to me was how solid it feels. I’m kind of biased toward heavier, sturdier pieces because I hate anything that feels cheap or hollow, and this definitely passed that test for me.
The wood and metal parts look nice in person, and the finish is even overall. The edges are clean, the screws lined up without any drama, and once I loaded it up, there was no wobbling, which is a big deal for me.

I’m only holding back from giving it a perfect score because there was a small mark on one corner, and the packaging was a little messy when it arrived. Nothing major, though, I’m still happy with it and would say the build quality is really solid
